Download Software
The software used to access Infinite Church's online world is downloadable from this link. It's an updated version of the communities.com program known as "Palace Chat", and includes a handful of the graphics, images and sounds that should get you started. It should run on any PC running Windows 98 to present, and on dual-boot macs running Windows OS.
Once you download the program, double click on it to open and follow the prompts. Once installed, start the program and select "Connect" from the file menu. In the space provided, enter goto.infinitechurch.com as the address, and port 9998. Then connect, and welcome to Infinite Church.
We'll be the first to agree that the software takes a little getting used to. Still, if you'll play with the available menus and click within the areas you enter, you'll quickly become familiar with navigating the site. When all else fails, typing "gate" from any room will return you to the entrance at Infinite Church.
We've just redesigned this site, and will be including more detailed help information here as time permits. In the meantime, most other users in the church will be happy to answer any questions that you have if you have trouble with the program.
